This is a very creative endeavor by the NY Library! I like the idea of having a smartphone scavenger hunt and using technolgy even to learn about history within the library. I for instance did not know that Charles Dicken's pen was made out of his cat's taxidermied paw? What a creative way to get people engaged at the library and then to write about the event in a book. The passport program through Arapahoe County is historical and informative and I wonder if they made it electronic if it would get more people involved?
This does sound fascinating, but the part about winners spending a night in the building with 500 people writing a book makes me wonder how and who will be organizing it!
