Freegal

Freegal Rocks! Just downloaded my first three tunes from freegal. I'm so impressed with the broad selection. I even found German Rock!!! Love it!

    I think patrons have similar ecstatic reactions too. Today, I was placing Prospector holds for a patron who already had ALD holds on music CDs. He was raving of how he's always surprised that the library does not only carry the blockbuster music groups/bands but also the ones that do not have large following either.

    Imagine his delight when I showed him Freegal. He said that he has a job that pays his rent and food and without the library and all the music he's been able to rent out, he would be totally lost.
